Reblog tree. That’s twelve blockquotes. Ten of them contain no original text, they simply reference the previous blogger, who quotes the previous blogger in a new <blockquote>, who quotes the previous blogger, again, in a new blockquote, and so on. The further you get to the right, the closer you get to the source, and the more likely you are to find original content. (In fact, the innermost quote here isn’t even original content; it’s content I quoted, when I first posted the reblogged picture.) Isn’t that a little ridiculous?
With all those bars, and the absurd, meaningless repetition of nothingness, it could almost pass for abstract art. Camus would be proud.
