Bald Knobbers, part of a vigilante group in Missouri in the 1880s, as portrayed in the 1919 film, The Shepherd of the Hills. These masks are ten times creepier than the ridiculous KKK hoods, and the Bald Knobbers weren’t even racially motivated. In other words: white supremacists fail even at intimidation.
